NAViSEER Personnel Tracking System
is a Dead Reckoning (DR) device worn by on-foot personnel
so their movements and locations can be tracked - even in
areas where GPS signals are not available, such as inside
buildings, tunnels, caves and in areas with very dense foliage
overhead.
NAViSEER
offers a lightweight, accurate, long range and low power
solution for GPS and GPS-denied environments. This solution
has many potential applications, including military,
law enforcement, firefighters, miners and industrial
workers, offering a comprehensive solution for tracking
on-foot personnel.
TheMovement and location of NAViSEER-equipped personnel
can be tracked via our SEER3D software; a quick and easy
tool for constructing a virtual 3D environment of the tactical
scenario, down to a specific building floor and body orientation
of the individual. Designed to work with most digital radios
and external GPS receivers, NAViSEER enables enhanced situational
awareness with visualization of the location of deployed
assets accurate to within 2% of distance traveled.
When GPS is available, the DR functions are automatically
calibrated continuously. When GPS is unavailable, DR takes
over. NAViSEER advanced motion classification algorithms
analyze movement and compensate when the user is moving
backward, sideways, running, or just moving in place.
Features
Quickly create 3D wireframe
visualizations of buildings of any size and shape accurate
to the number of floors and quickly add more buildings
to reflect a changing tactical situation
Quickly initialize first response
team members arriving at the site and/or manually insert
assets already onsite into the visualization
Clearly recognize the specific
floor where deployed assets are located
Clearly view body orientation,
whether stationary and when moving
Label each avatar by name or other
moniker
Manually position virtual vehicles
around the scene for better tactical picture of deployment
scenario
In addition to real-time viewing,
review tracking paths stored in data logger for post-incident
reviews, training, etc.– e.g., blue for police,
black for SWAT, white for firefighters, etc.
Automatically designate building
faces with letter identifications - A,B,C,D - etc.
