ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Brant Howard
Founder and CEO, CompassCom
Brant Howard is the Founder and CEO of CompassCom Software Corporation a provider of GIS centric GNSS Tracking Systems. He is an innovator and leader of the CompassCom Team to develop and deploy  tracking systems for mission critical applications. Brant has undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Geology from Indiana University. His experience includes the US Geological Survey; Camp, Dresser & McKee, and endeavors in the Remote Sensing, GPS and the electronic technology professions. Brant holds Patents in Geospatial and Mobile Resource Management technology, and has authored articles in technical journals relating to Geology, GIS, remote Sensing and Mobile Resource Management. He has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver, and presents at seminars and conferences worldwide.

Sergeant Chris Talbot
Administrative Services, Derry Police Department, Derry, NH
Christopher Talbot is a Police Officer with the Derry, NH Police Department. He is currently assigned as a Sergeant with the Administrative Services Bureau. During his time with the Derry Police Department, Chris was assigned to the investigation bureau for 6 years where he investigated various crimes including sexual assaults, intellectual property crimes, white collar crimes, burglaries, violent assaults, and homicides. He is an Accident Reconstructionist and is a member of the Derry New Hampshire Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team. Chris has processed hundreds of crime scenes and is a graduate of the SIRCHIE Crime Scene Technology class. He also serves as the New Hampshire board member for the New England Division of the International Association for Identification (NEDIAI). In recent years, Chris has been assigned to the Administrative Services Bureau, where he supervises the recruitment/hiring of officers, fleet purchases, department equipment upgrades, and department training.

Lieutenant David Michaud
Administrative Lieutenant, Derry Police Department, Derry, NH
David Michaud is the Administrative Lieutenant at the Derry NH Police Department. He has been with the Derry Police Department since 2007, serving in various roles. Prior to joining the Derry Police Department, he was a serving Police Officer at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. David received Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degrees in Criminal Justice and Security Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

John Gallagher
Director of Public Safety Business Development, CompassCom
John Gallagher joined CompassCom Software Corporation after a 32 year career at Motorola Solutions Inc. During his career he served as an Account Executive, Rocky Mountain Regional Sales Director and Vice President of North American Sales for the Motorola Information Systems Group. John also served as Director of Business Operations for Motorola PremierOne CAD group and completed his career as the National Account Manager for the U.S. Department of the Interior as a member of the Motorola U.S. Federal Government Markets Division.
